Dr Stephen J Hall, a teacher educator and consultant with extensive Asia Pacifc experience is based in Kuala Lumpur. He is Director Language, Sunway University , Bandar Sunway,Malaysia.
Stephen was INSETT Project Manager, CfBT Education Services Malaysia working with nation wide teacher development. As Principal Consultant with Specific English Training in Singapore. he trained teachers, desgned materials and worked with major corporate clients. Stephen managed the Language and Communication Division of Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore (1995-1999) and was involved in teacher development throughout Southeast Asia for RELC (1992-1995).
Stephen has taught in multicultural primary and secondary schools in New Zealand and the Asia Pacifc and has worked in tertiary TESOL training. His Doctorate (Univeristy of Leicester) focuses on inservice teacher and teacher educator interaction.
Stephen has authored books on English for Tourism, texts for ASEAN English for Specific Purposes and articles about cross cultural issues, pronunciation, oracy, task-based learning, digital literacy and teacher education. He presents at numerous international conferences. |
